Mission Statement

DM Mindful Wellness is dedicated to elevating mindful movement, intentional breath and, embodied awareness. Our mission is to empower everyone to move with confidence, presence and ease, with practices that increase body awareness, energise the body and calm the mind.

 

With over 30 years of experience our expert mind and body coach offers detailed instructions to assist with exercise technique and hands-on correction to support each person's unique journey. We create inclusive, nurturing spaces where individuals can reconnect with themselves, build inner resilience, and cultivate lasting balance in their everyday lives.  ​​​​

I've been joining Doreen for Flex and Mobility (E A Rejuven) at Hemel Everyone Active for the past 8 weeks now. I'm 56 with a Dinosaur back but the sessions are geared to all levels, with regular sense checks on how people in the class are doing and a varied focus on areas being worked each week. It's a genuine pleasure to attend and Doreen's easy style and obvious experience make for a enjoyable but therapeutic 45 minutes each week. Love it, keep up the amazing work 👌🏻

I have been taking Doreen's Pilates classes for several years and I look forward to them each week. Each class is different which makes them engaging and fun. Doreen focuses on technique and is approachable with any questions we may have. She is very proactive in correcting our form so that we can get more out of each move and provides us with adaptations to the moves so I can work at my own level and around any injuries that I may have. Doreen is personable, friendly and supportive, and after doing her classes I feel stronger and more flexible!

I have been attending Doreen's pilates classes for over 6 years. Each class is different and interesting and she always provides variations of the exercised to take into account the mixed ages, injuries and abilities of the group. Doreen has a very keen eye and is quick to help correct things if she sees that you aren't engaging the right muscles or your form is wrong. Her wealth of experience not just in pilates definitely does show. And we also have a laugh too. I feel Doreen has really helped with my strength and mobility and on occasion when I have been lucky enough to be the only one in the class I have really benefitted from her bespoke one to one sessions.
